Dr. Lance Masters is the academic leader of Enderun Colleges in McKinley Hill, Ft. Bonifacio. As Provost, a position that is new to the Philippines but not to North American universities, Dr. Masters is responsible for all aspects of its academic programs, including the four year bachelor’s degrees in International Hospitality Management, with majors in Culinary Arts and Hotel Administration, BS Entrepreneurship and Family enterprise and the BS Business Administration with majors in Finance and Wealth Management, CRM-based Marketing Management, and Business Process Management and Consulting.Lance has extensive experience in both higher education and industry. He was President of Pennsylvania’s Thiel College for almost nine years and was a professor, department head and dean of several universities in California for more than twenty years. He has authored a total of more than 50 books, chapters, articles and papers about business and higher education.
Before his distinguished academic career, he gained experience as Vice
President of Marketing for Butcher Boy Food Products (now Windsor
Foods), Market Planning Manager and Economist for Fleetwood
Enterprises, Western Regional Manager for Arby’s and Restaurant Group
Manager for Dick Clark Enterprises. He started his first restaurant
when he was ten!
He earned his Ph.D. in Executive Management from Peter Drucker at the Claremont Graduate University, as well as his M.A. in Management. He earned the MBA in Finance and Marketing (with distinction) from Cal State San Bernardino and the BA (High Hons) in Economics from University of California Riverside.
Lance has been a Rotarian for more than 30 years and is a past
director, past president and PHF. He is VP elect of the Rotary Club of
Manila. He is a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal/Anglican Church on
Forbes-McKinley Road, and serves as a lay reader and as a member of the
vestry (governing board). He lives with his papillon “Monarch” in
Magallanes and wishes that his wife, Dr. Brenda Ponsford, and his 10
year old son Chase, were with him here in Manila.
