Dra. Katty Estrada (Speaker- Sept. 4, 2009)

Dr. Katty Estrada is a graduate of St Jude Catholic School for her elementary and high school years. She pursued her medical degree at UST, graduating cum laude in her undergraduate studies. She underwent her dermatology training at the same institution and became chief resident in her senior year. She has attended various courses here and abroad, with her special interest on lasers. She is a favorite speaker for numerous medical societies around the country having spoken on different conventions on various topics in dermatology. She feels fortunate to have visited many of the country’s premiere places through these lectures. She is an active member of her component society, the Philippine Dermatological Society where she is diplomate and fellow and she is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She was the chair of the monitoring committee of the Accreditation Program for her specialty society. She is presently an active consultant in Manila Doctors Hospital and in Asian Hospital. She also heads the section of Dermatology in Manila Doctors Hospital.
